"Winner in women's Transcontinental Air Derby".  Gladys O'Donnel flew her beautiful Waco Taperwing to many victories in the air races of the 1930s, including the Transcontinental Air Derby.  Her piloting skills made her a consistent winner in both closed-course and cross-country events.  She added glamour, color and interest to many of the early air races.   With mat -  19 1/2" x 16 3/8".  A great piece of history!
