Original WWII Sweetheart Pillow Cover

The branches of the service gave their sweethearts, wives, and mothers these covers as gifts. They look awesome framed - no mat, just free floating. This Navy cover, complete with ships and airplanes, is to Mother: "There's a dear little house inviting in a dear little place I know. And a welcome is always waiting when to that little house I go. For there lives the dearest lady, the sweetest I ever met. And today, if I cannot visit, Dear Mother, I don't forget." What a nice historic gift this would be! Very nice condition. Material- satin. Excluding the fringe, approximately 18" x 18".
